FMB SCORPIO CNC VERTICAL SAWING CENTER Innovative Approach of Sawing and Material Flow
FMB SCORPIO CNC Development The SCORPIO CNC was developed by FMB to provide a unique solution for sawing longer lengths with opposing mitre cuts. The heart of this solution is MATERIAL OPTIMIZATION features and the Rotary Material Positioning System.
The Material Optimization will allow the SCORPIO CNC to process opposing mitre cuts while maintaining the cut length. The Rotary Material Positioning System eliminates the need for multiple indexes normally required of saws with a gripper index system. This system is ideal for handling long cut lengths. The material is indexed to the cut length in one fluid motion, with no limitation of the cut length. In addition, the size of the potential remnant end has been reduced to only 1-3/8".
